About QLAM
Started in 2025, QLAM is made up of a passionate group of LGBTQ+ lawyers, legal professionals, law students, advocates, and organizers from across Maine. Our mission is to provide support, education, advocacy, and legal resources tailored to the unique challenges faced by queer individuals and families. Together, we are committed to empowering our community, promoting 2SLGBTQIA+ rights within our state, and building a more equitable society for all. Join us in our endeavor to make meaningful change in the legal landscape of Maine.
Please note that QLAM does not provide direct legal services. However, we are more than happy to provide recommendations for queer-affirming legal representation. Our network of legal professionals relies on self-identification; QLAM does not receive a referral fee, nor can we make any representation regarding the qualifications or expertise of the professionals in our network.
